Top performing apprentices received a special award trophy and gift voucher at the Mansion House in this year’s official Doncaster Council Craft Apprentice of the Year Awards.
Apprentices were chosen for their commitment, willingness to learn and excellent progress during their time working within the Council and at Doncaster College.
The council offers one of the largest number of Craft Apprenticeship placements in the borough, these programmes really do help apprentices in starting a career in their chosen industry.
This year also saw a number of female craft apprentices joining the scheme and will hopefully encourage even more young women to get involved in what is traditionally seen as a male dominated industry.
