Youth Work Week is an annual event coordinated by the National Youth Agency and will take place from the 1 until 7 November 2008. There will be themed activities throughout the week for youth workers to help raise the profile of the Youth Service as a whole.
The theme for this year’s Youth Work Week is Promoting Young People’s Voice and Influence. The week will showcase and celebrate the contribution of youth work to the development of young people and to highlight the positive roles played by young people in their communities.
Young people can access a wide range of programmed sessions and become actively involved in their local Youth Centre. See Youth Centres
